My name is Cassidy Roger and I am currently in my second year of the Bachelor of Education program at the University of Victoria. My passions include travelling, the outdoors, and learning, and I cannot wait to start my career as a teacher in the years to come! I have worked with children of various ages in child care and settings, as well as my most recent practicum observation experience at Royal Oak Middle School.

My goal is to create classroom environments that are safe and inclusive for all students to succeed. I believe that motivation is mandatory for learning to take place and works differently for every student. Sustainability and zero-waste lifestyle habits are an additional passion that I hope to bring into the classroom in new and exciting ways. I look forward to building relationships with students in my future and am enjoying my educational journey as a teacher candidate!
